Sadly, some making money over the internet that I fell into. They say they charge you .95, but if you don’t cancel within 4 days (like me), you get charged .93 and every month afterward. The also direct you to Brain Host (a web hosting and domain site), who will charge you an initial .95 to start up and then .95 a month afterward.

Supposedly Eclipse is supposed to make a website for you for free… DIDN’T HAPPEN. Their "trial period of 5 days, is actually 4 days (not business days either)….. The make you jump through hoops and the out come is supposed to be that you have your own website with multiple advertisements on it that direct you to those pain in the ass sites that pop up saying "YOU WON 00 GIFT CARD TO BEST BUY" "ENTER YOUR EMAIL AND ZIP CODE HERE TO SEE IF YOU QUALIFY. Then you have to go through a series of surveys and then complete "3 special offers" in order to receive the best buy card….which you usually end up not getting, because something didn’t work correctly.

I just feel like this entire thing is a huge money making scam. Why can’t people post work from home jobs that are actually working from home for a company doing something like data entry or bookkeeping for them? A job where you actually get a paycheck, not sink money into something that it set to fail from the beginning?

My inbox is getting flooded with these notices and I called my web host (it’s a web-based email client), but was told simply to delete the messages. The email addresses in question are similar to my own domain, but I never sent the emails although I’m being told that the emails are undeliverable. The host said that spammers are obviously sending emails with my address as the reply to. My concern is that I am now unable to email 2 of my clients because I get bounce-backs telling me that I was trying to send them a virus or spam! What is going on and how do I stop this from happening??!! Thanks for your help..

Hello, I just bought 100 domain names. I plan to create 100 squeeze pages one for each domain. All the domains are very similar. Just that they all target different cities. So my question is when I create the squeeze pages do each page need to be significantly different in order for google not to deem them as duplicates? And does the video I use which I plan to host on youtube need to be different for each page? Or can I use the same one without it hurting my SEO? Mainly wondering how’s the best way to do this so all get indexed under the keywords I choose that are in the domain names?

Hi guys,

I know its a long shot asking here but hopefully someone (or some people) would be able to help me in setting up what i am trying to do.

I am setting up a web server which will host multiple websites using Apache web server 2 by using Virtual Hosts.

The server has its own internal ip address assigned (192.168.0.100) and each new website is assigned its own internal address (I currently have 2 sites: Frostnet.co.cc @ 192.168.0.102 and sg.webhop.net @ 192.168.0.101).

I am using my home internet to do this which is provided by sky and as they will not let me have a static IP address which would make this allot easier, I am having to use Dynamic DNS (which is providing the address of sg.webhop.net which is already a site on the box)

The box is also providing DNS services for the sites on the box.
Everything required is ported forward through the sky router (http, ftp, DNS, email, ssh) which works fine.

I can access http://sg.webhop.net which brings the corect web page up but when I access http://www.frostnet.co.cc it just takes too long to respond.

How can I setup this box to host multiple websites on 1 external IP address which is contstantly changing BUT assigned to sg.webhop.net through Dynamic DNS?
I am also using .co.cc for my frostnet domain name so I have pointed the DNS at the box on my network (sg.webhop.net) but it still dont work.

Any Ideas?

Sorry forgot to add i am using a Linux system (CentOS 4.8)
Also after further testing if i ping www.frostnet.co.cc it comes back with the internal address of my home network of sg.webhop.net instead of the internal address of frostnet. This is pinging from a remote network as i ma currently at work.

I want to know, is it possible to forward a domain to different places based on the port being used? For instance, say I want the domain "example.com" to point to a hosted website if port 80 is used, but I want "example.com" to point to, say a Minecraft server if port 25565 is used. So essentially, when a person uses a web browser (port 80) to connect to example.com, it points to an external IP where my website is hosted. When a person connects to example.com using a Minecraft client (port 25565) it points to the Minecraft server located on my machine. Can I do this? I’ve seen it happen.
