|A frequently-asked query:
A typical query:
I need to know which is the best webhost in terms of reliability and uptime, I need a webhost that has: at least 50 GB of space, Unlimited Domains, at least 100 GB of bandwidth. I also need one that has multiple plans so if i use up all the space or use up too much bandwidth i can upgrade it. I need one with a option of dedicated hosting when the site gets to busy, and one more thing i need at least 10 MySQL databases
Also it has to be a paid host. And nothing that is unlimited everything because that is serious overselling, it can have like unlimited bandwidth or MySQL databases, but not everything unlimited because there is no such thing as unlimited they have to stop me somewhere. Also i was looking at hostgator, has anyone tried that one, and if so is it good.
13 FebCan I forward port 80 to one computer on my network without affecting the others' internet connection?
A common question:
I am going to host a website on a desktop computer connected to a broadband (always on) connection and I read that I need to forward port 80 so that remote computers’ traffic isn’t directed to the other computers on my network. If I forward port 80 to one computer, will the others lose there ability to connect to the internet?
Also, I don’t know if I can ask multiple questions in one, but these are related. How do I associate a domain name I register with, say, GoDaddy, with my home external IP? I also read that you have to use DynDNS because ISPs change your external every so often, but I don’t know that you can use a DynDNS account with a website that isn’t one they already registered i.e. yoursite.theirsite.net.
Question about multiple domain: I have 2 windows 2003 servers on the same network. How do I give each user in my network a list with both domains to chose from?
Question about multiple domain: I’m not necessarily looking for dedicated hosting, either. Shared would probably be fine. I’m just wanting to see what most people are using.
Question about multiple domain: The answer choices are:
A) x > or equal to 1 and R: R (I don’t know what that second R stand for)
B) D: R and R: y>0
C) D: x>0 and R: R
D) D: R and R: y>or equal to 1
Thanks a lot!
Oh, so now I get it! The second R stands for the all real numbers which fits perfectly. Thanks!
But doesn’t the y also suppose to be more than 0?
Never mind, I got it. Thanks!
Question about multiple domain: My friend and I both wish to host websites with entirely different premises and whatnot, but we’re a little strapped for cash. We’ve found that iPage offers unlimited domains, unlimited space and whatnot, and at .50 a month, it’s a good price. Since it offers multiple domains, can we host two websites on the same plan in an effort to save money?
08 Aprwat is a good free web hosting/free domain webiste that u can fully customize it and domains are multiple??
Question about multiple domain: wat is a good free web hosting/free domain webiste that u can fully customize it and domains are multiple or the domains are short but good???? thanx u
Question about multiple domain: I want to register several domains for shorter terms: 3, 6 months and then let it go thereafter. Is there a website that can hold multiple domains in one hosting for shorter terms? Or any hosting that could give me cheap mass (10 or more) domains?
If that doesn’t work, then i need a website where I could register multiple (even unlimited) domains and point it to my hosting. I am looking towards adding 1-2 domains/ month. So a website where I could get a deal for doing something like this. Thanks so far!
