08 FebWhy can't I find the persons Ip Address in yahoo? Comes up only showing yahoo ip?

A frequently-asked query:

I look at the full header of multiple emails from this person and I can’t seem to pull up one that shows his ip from his home? The ones that he had to send from home or phone only show up the yahoo ip address. Is there something I’m doing wrong, Maybe its blocked from his house? I got a email to my gmail and I’m not sure if its the same guy but I did track it and be able to see its coming from a house, would gmail be able to find the ip better and more reliable? Here are a few full headers from his messages. Through yahoo via to his email at home its not showing up a ip… Just yahoo ip?

18 AugHoe to set up my own server so i can host multiple websites.?

A frequently-asked query:

hey guys I’m trying to make a couple extra bucks by designing websites for local business. I’d like to generate as much profit as i can, so is there some way i can take one of my windows desktops and turn it into some type of server that allows me to host multiple websites?
also could i register my own domain names?
I realize that I’m probably going to have to get a fixed ip, but is there anything I should l be aware of?
I’m i asking the right questions?
thanks:D

07 JulMultiple Domain Names to one IP?

A frequently-asked query:

So, surely web hosts don’t have a separate IP for each customer they have.

How do they keep them separate?

Or more to the point,

When I use, what is it called, a cname? so that it shows the domain name as I click around the site..
All of my domain names are addressed to the same IP, and show the same page. How do I show a different page on different domain names? (I’m using 1&1 if it matters.)

07 MayHosting Multiple Domains on Shared IP?

A multiple domain question:

I’m thinking about switching my web host to a host that allows multiple domains on a shared IP. I have several different websites. Are there any potential problems/conflicts with this? search engine rankings, google analytics and adsense problems? anything?
